GALI air starters are designed for starting internal combustion engines and gas turbines. Despite their compact size and lightweight construction, they deliver exceptional power, offering high torque, rapid starting speed, low air consumption, and minimal maintenance requirements. These starters operate within a pressure range of 3 to 4 MPa (30 to 40 bar), with maximum and minimum working pressures varying based on installation conditions. Their fast response and high-speed performance enable engines to reach ignition speed almost instantly, enhancing starting efficiency. Requiring no external lubrication, GALI starters eliminate the need for external pump lubricators, ensuring a cleaner, more environmentally friendly installation that is easier to maintain. They are also highly resistant to humidity, saline environments, vibration, and extreme temperatures. GALI starters are widely used across many industries, including marine propulsion and auxiliary engines, generator sets, conventional and nuclear power plants, military applications, locomotives, offshore operations, and mining. Introduction Air Starters The only starter on the market to operate directly at 30-40 bar and thus eliminate the need for problematic reduction valves. Wide range of different models available to start engines with up to 12,000 kW and more. The Gali R&D department independently designs and develops all components of the air starters. They use proprietary technology to engineer critical parts, including rotors, crowns, shafts, main valves, and servo-lockers ensuring maximum reliability and durability. To enhance performance and longevity, only high quality, corrosion resistant materials are used in manufacturing these products. Research & Design 1 www.jbj.co.uk/air-starters #DriveLineHarmony
