The heating capacity needed here arises out of the point of intersection [3]. In order to maintain the temperature, a heating rod with the next higher heating capacity of 2 kW [4] will have to be chosen. By cold starts and on grounds of a shorter heating period, it is recommended to choose a larger heating rod (capacity factor 1.5 to 2.0).
